These pictures are from Hillcrest Ave. They always go ALL OUT for Halloween! Some houses even have live music for all their guest to see. This is always something fun and exciting to see around Halloween!

Now that Halloween is over - John
This post is post mordem to Halloween and all the crazy tricks that were played. Thankfully no one TP'd my house for lack of Halloween decorations. It was fun watching my neighbor climb on her 2 story house to dislodge the corner of spider web that has engulfed her house for the last 3 weeks and what I saw made me a little nauseous. SHE HAD HER CHRISTMAS LIGHTS WITH HER. Now granted that have yet to be turned on but it is the first week of November and Christmas decorations are popping up. I have some disturbing numbers for you. People will spend $700 on average for their Christmas Displays. According to several energy couples people are spending $15 dollars more a day on electricity when they have these large displays. Lets do the math, from December 1 thru Christmas 15 x 25 = $375. People are spending $1000 for displays alone. The average number one response is....We do it for the children......No you do it to get noticed. I am not after those people who put up a few lights and a tree, I am talking the full blown lights set to music that goes off every hour.....Yes I am talking to you Clark Griswald. If you wanted to "do it for the children" take the $1000 and buy Christmas gifts for the less fortunate. But remember this is only my take.....what do you think
